Below are five graduation requirements for students at The Elite Training Center. The instructor’s and coaches review these almost daily during scheduled classes. To help your child advance, please also review these requirements at home. There is nothing worse than a student who is unsure of what to do to move forward. Working together as a team, instructors and parents can help create a clear path towards life-long, great habits for students of all ages.
- Consistent attendance — You must show consistency in your classes in order to graduate. If you do not have enough classes, you will have to wait until you do.
- Knowledge of the material — You must be able to demonstrate with proficiency the required techniques, punches, kicks, drills and rolls required for your level (and the levels below you) if you are in level 2 or 3. Students cannot move to the next rank without showing a thorough understanding of the material.
- Attitude in the dojo — You must have a good, consistent attitude in class. Students who act lazy or disrespectful will not move forward without changes.
- Attitude at home — With parents guidance, we will not allow those children who have poor attitudes at home to represent the dojo and graduate until positive changes are made.
- Acceptable Grades — With parent’s input, students must maintain acceptable school grades in order to move forward at the dojo. Grades go hand in hand with the self-discipline and respect we require.
If a youth does not meet the requirements set by the home family and school family then we will not pass them to the next level. We at the Elite Training Center are firm believers in you earn what you get, so if a youth is not participating, causing disruption, not learning or retaining the life enhancing and self protection skills then we will not progress them.
